Object bar!

Hello!! I installed object bar, but I'm facing a trouble and hoped you would help me.As I said I'm from Greece and I have Greek Win98 SE. So in my start bar and task bar -eg the clock's pm and am- there are bound to be Greek characters in text. The thing is that the object bar I installed doesn't support them with it's current settings and I can't seem to find a solution to the problem by myself...please help me!!!!!

Um, I can't help much, but you see our #2 top author (right now)... adni18? He is incredibly skilled, knowledgeable, AND from greece.... he can help!

Thanks!!! Let's hope Adni18 can help...it's really frustrating seeing instead of letters, mumbo jumbo symbols...

I guess your problem is the particular skin or the object bar that you are using.
Some skins are instaling their fonts, but those fonts, are not from Microsoft and can't be translated by the Windows for every language.

Αν επιμενεις να χρησιμοποιησεις καποιο συγκεκριμενο σκιν τοτε:

You can change the font from the Display Properties->Advanced->Font Qverrides, but the results are not always nice

failure... it didn't work... I tried:

Display properties-> Skins-> Advanced -> Other overrides-> Change titlebar font -the only option for overriding-

but the only thing that changed was each window's titlebar font, not the taskbar's font , neither start menu's

Στο System tray έχω σύμβολα αντι για πμ και μμ και το μενου εναρξης εχει συμβολα όπου υπαρχει ελληνικη λέξη... τα νευρα μου!!!! it's really frustrating!!!!!

EG: HuronJoe, he!he! really good one!!! It would be a good idea for you to learn some Greek!

It works for me me, I wonder why doesn't work for you?
There is an option there, "Font Overrides"-> "All skin defined fonts to be replaced by:"
I guess, maybe it is the version of Windows you have, that is why you don't have those options. I am using Windows XP.
Σου προτεινω να αλλαξεις το πμ-μμ με ΑΜ-ΡΜ απο τις ρυθμισεις, Regional and Language Options, ετσι κι αλλοιως δεν ειναι σημαντικο και αποφευγεις τετοιου ειδους προβληματα.

I want XP too ... I'll follow that little advice of yours! AND I'll change every Greek word in the start menu if I can...-evethough it doesn't solve the entire problem -

Υποθέτω έχεις τη registered έκδοση των windowblinds kai objectbar σωστά? -ίσως -κατά τη γνώμη μου - αυτό είναι η αιτία που δεν έχω τόσες επιλογές στις ιδιότητες οθόνης ->skins -> advanced... Χαιρετίσματα απο Αρκαδία!!!! Εύα εδώ! Χάρηκα!
