I second that.

I tried skinstudio 8 and it works except you have to reactivate windowblinds after you make the changes. I know, I know that no one said it was compatible. I am just saying I used it and was able to make changes to skins.

Uggggh.. very disappointed.

Ok.. so if you want your start menu to be skinned, you still have to rely on having Start10 installed and set to either Windows 7 Style or Modern Style.

Still can't manage to get it to skin the native start menu ( Windows 10 style ).

I suppose that is a limitation from MS eh?

You know how I stand on this. I'm not going to keep living in Windows 7 land of start menu. All I get out of this is a taskbar and windows skinned.

For those that want to keep using legacy functions, good for you. It isn't for me though.

Skinning has dropped another limb in the grave if it can't keep up. ( Again I stress that this is not Stardock's fault. )

So I'm going to guess you tried a Win 7-8 skin. I want to make sure my new WindowBlinds I'm making work on win 10. Guess I will have to wait for SKS 10 to be available. Almost at the point with so many using win10 it isn't worth uploading till I know a new skin will work on 10.

We all have been waiting for WB10 now I will wait for SKS information. No problem SD will get it.

Aside from a browser if anyone see an area not skin it would be nice to hear about it. I'm pretty sure a new thread will be started for that reason which would be helpful.

Correct. I did not want to keep trying different skins having to reactivate my license every time. I was only making the point that I used SkinStudio 8 thinking or at least hoping that SkinStudio 10 should be released soon if SS8 already works. We are best to wait for SS10 to come along.

I have noticed a couple minor things so far so if a separate  thread was started I will post there.

Any issues or direct beta discussion should be here: https://forums.stardock.com/474074/

That way we can keep track of things.
