Adam: I think you should remove your reply to his comment. You sank to his level, and using foul language thinly disguised with asterisks doesn't sit well with me and makes you look bad too this is a family site after all.

Some people don't realise the hard work that goes into making these themes.

I like the fact that this is a family site. I don't use chat rooms for the simple reason of all the nasty language. Adam I love your work. whatever that guy said wasn't true at all. I am a die hard Star Trek fan and if it wasn't the fact I hate DX I would use it.

That brings me to my next point. Why is it when someone mentions the word Kazaa or Cracked or StyleXP or anything else that does not have anything to do with Stardock products (like thier compitition) you guys have a cow? I've been yelled at for using liteStep and chatting here at a website by Stardock. I personally hate Objectbar and DX but I still like to use skins. I understand why you guys go after people who steal your work, just not why you yell at anyone who does not use Stardock's products or Kazaa.

Being caught carrying burglar's tools can result in a charge often called 'Going equipped'.....Kazaa is much like that...

Otherwise, there's no 'problem' with alternate skinning/shell proggies, etc....but it's just not all that 'nice' to vehemently deride Stardock's product[s] while lauding the virtues of the 'others' on a site which owes its existance to Stardock...

Your LCARS work has provided me with a wonderful opportunity of understanding DX/make up of the theme and by doing so I fully appreciate the many hours of work you have devoted to it.

kona0197, why would anyone yell at you for using Litestep?

Trust me, Stardock does not have a problem with different skinning programs (why would we have libraries for them on WC if we did?) The only "skinning" program that we have an issue with is StyleXP because it hacks a system dll (one that is Microsoft supplied and can change with each SP). We don't like talk of "Kazaa" and "Cracks" because we do not support illegal file sharing (because, well, we like to pay our bills and if everyone used cracked software we wouldn't be able to).

And, of course, as Jafo mentioned, this site is supported by Stardock product sales. Without sales, this site would not exist.

No offense meant to anyone. I do not know what dll files you are refering to as I never had to change any to use StyleXP. Right now I am not using any skinning programs, just ydock. I agree Kazaa sucks, I tried it and got alot of virus when I was dowloading songs and that sucked. I used napster once upon a time. Anyways, thanks for the input, and I guess I will now continue to go ride my brand new Kona Fire Mountain. Keep up the good work everyone.
