Pax's skin rating guide?

On my other computer I had a link that lead to a skin rating guide that Pax (I think) made up as a guidline that he used to rate a skin. I wondered if anyone still has that link? I think I need to learn more.

I've been through a hard drive crash since then but I remember what you're looking for. It was great and now that you mention it I wish I had that link again too...

When paxx gets here I'm sure he'll post the link if he still has the page up. It was done in flash wasn't it?

Thanks, David! Tonight, as I was reading, I realized that I didn't even know what constitutes a 'complete' skin, and what doesn't.

A 'complete' skin is one that goes all the way to your toes...

Every skin format has a certain number of features and not all skins include everything. For example, a logon screen has a lot of buttons but many that are uploaded use the default buttons that Windows puts there. I've seen some Windowblinds skins that have no dialog/mdi/explorer backgrounds and the defaults don't match, no MDI buttons maybe, a Winamp skin with no browser or video window, stuff like that I think is what would be considered incomplete.

I have trouble with skins......i have download accelerator plus and it has a button to minimize it to the little quick launch bit and no skin caters for it

You don't need a guide. It is all very simple. If you like the author rate everything high.

Isn't that how it is done?

I see comments referring to ratings, but have never seen that feature myself. How does one gain the priviledge of submitting rating scores?
