I didn't read this whole thing (because I'm lazy) but I will tell you a story:

I have worked at Stardock for almost 8 years. Most people who work here and chat with us every day are male. I use online communication all day long. The first time that I chatted on IRC I got thwaped around pretty bad by the "guys". At least I "felt" like that was what happened. So, I whined to my boss (Frogboy) and he told me something that I took to heart: "You need to get a thicker skin. They will only bug you if you let them." And, it's the truth.

The problem that I have with this particular subject is: the comments were constructive criticism, not "put-downs" as you took it. This person took the time to give examples of points of your work that could be improved. That is what the comments are all about. They aren't for the "this rocks" or "this sucks", they are for people to respond with ways to help artists improve their work.

Now, what I *do* find offensive is how you reacted. Anyone with the IQ of a cucumber can figure out who you are calling ‘Poohead’. So, you resorted to calling somebody a name just because they commented on your work in a way that you didn't agree with. Which is more offensive: making a comment about a theme, or personally attacking somebody? (just think about that one.)

Actually, the most offensive thing was the "Starcock" reference....reminds me of when one of our Stardock Magazines went out featuring "ObjectBra"

I removed Shaman. At the very least, the offending 'Starcock' is gone.

They all look really different from each other...

Sometimes I get some really outlandish ideas (like my idea of a little girl swinging on a swing at the end of your cursor when it's in busy mode). Silly!

There's nothing at all wrong with flowers! Especially if they're purdy ones.

Purdy is purdy - doesn't matter if you're a guy or a girl - and darnit, I'm not ashamed to say that!

Some flowers have hidden suprises.........like nasty bees or creepy crawlys
