Windows TH2 Release and Fences 2.13

I am having an issue since upgrading to Windows 10 TH2 from previous Win 10 insider preview releases. I have diagnosed the problem and found that if I close/disable Fences 2.13 the problem goes away.

When I right click on the desktop or in an opened explorer window and select new folder for example, nothing seems to happen, until I refresh the screen, then I see the new folder. Also if I copy or drag/move files from one location to another, the files appear to remain in the old folder and do not appear in the new folder, that is until I refresh both folders and then they are there.

This is becoming more and more frustrating and I am at the point of permanently disabling fences because it is making my system unusable.

Does anyone else have an issue like this or have any ideas on how to fix it?

I also have Start10 and my system has an NVidia card with the latest drivers (in case that is needed). Other software I use is displayfusion to allow different backgrounds on each of my monitors - but all of this has been in place well before July when Windows 10 was released and I actually started in May as an Insider Preview tester and only ceased with the release of TH2.

And where do I get that from?

My understanding is that it is only available to Object Desktop users, which I am not.

It seems a bit strange that people who have purchased fences are not able to access the beta of the next release.

 

So if there are no other suggestions, looks like I disable it :(

if im not mistaken depening how new its been since you purchased fences i think they give discounts for the object desktop because you purchased a product already.the smart move is to always go for the full package,you save alot more

 

and the renewal per yr gets cheaper too

 

cost me 32 bucks just to renew again,and windowblinds is soon to be added to the list finally again.

 

im not sure but if all you want is fences 3 as well you may also be able to buy a discounted upgrade

 

ive used object desktop since early windows days tho and i got to say the package has been nothing but awesome and expanding.

 

sadly i wouldnt mind also testing unreleased betas as well,but i dont think theres an option except somehow work for stardock

 

im on experimental mode of windows 10 as i prefer to get a bit dirty and help figure out whats wrong with something and enhance it-ƒR()§†H@X Former PSPMOD GURU

I only purchased Start8, Start10 and Fences because they are the only items I wanted - none of the other items interest me at all.
