wincus. and firewall

anybody have problems with wincus.(in or out of IE) and Zonealarm pro with privacy enabled..1st thought it was popup problem but it works in Netscape. Since IE is default I had to find answer. I disabled privacy in zonepro and all was fine right up to where the pop-ups started. Downloaded Guard-IE pop-up software and everything works. Go figure. It's got to be a script problem in zonepro, but I can't put my finger on it. I sure can't put up with those pop-up ads and I really don't want to buy Guard-IE .

There are no pop-ups on this site... unless you don't login and then you get another stardock site in a seperate window. If you stay logged in you won't get the game site.

with wincustomise browser (which I use) OR using IE and going to wincustomer site would conflict with my firewall by disengaging the truevertor engine and cutting my internet connection.In either case I am logged in at all times. Zonepro, by default disables web bugs and private header ID. Zonepro people say it's not them...but..

I use the free version of ZA, and I had a lot of problems with WC until I allowed both IE and ZA explicit access.

but as far as Earthlinks Popup Stopper is concerned, all the comments boxes are popups. I had to close Earthlinks Popup Stopper just to comment in the comment box.
