Issues Conhost.exe

from Stardock Forums

Having Conhost.exe error after installing Start 10, everytime I leave a program or restart computer I have conhost error come up as soon as I uninstall start 10 it goes away. took me awhile to narrow which program was causing issue. Since I have total stardock package. Is anyone else having issue with this and if so what is the fix for it. I run windows 10 Home, Asus Rog Maximus Hero VIII, GTX970 Strix, 16GB Kingston DDR4 3000 Ram, SSD Samsung 250GB.

We are going to need more information as I am not aware of any even remotely similar reports before.

What does the error message say exactly?

conhost.exe - Application Error

The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x00007fff83465920

Click on OK to terminate the program

and second error always is

Werfault.exe - Application Error

The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application at location 0x00007fff83465920

Click on OK to terminate the program

 

Ive reinstalled windows 10, 3 times so its a clean install, but everytime I install Start 10 these 2 error comes up continuously as soon as I remove start 10 the error goes away

I just reinstalled start 10 same errors came up, so uninstalled start 10 and both errors disappeared

all the other programs Object Desktop Manager work good just not start 10

What sound card do you have as we did have a report of some strange behaviour with one sound card and Start10

Im using the sound from the Asus Rog Maximus VIII Hero onboard sound Supreme FX2015 I think its kinda vague on the info on it
