windows 10 universal apps empty, critical error message when accessing windows 10 menu

I am having an issue where the windows 10 universal apps is empty and when I try to access the windows 10 start menu I get a critical error message and am required to log out and system returns to login screen.

Any suggestions on how to resolve?

Also, I have not found a tech support ticketing system.  If this forum is not appropriate for this can someone point me at the service desk tool?

Thanks

Are you using the Windows 10 insider preview?

You need to update to Start10 1.05.  Clicking the check for update button on Start10 about should get you the update which fixes the missing apps list.  Your other issue is alas nothing to do with Start10 and would appear to be an OS level bug which would need Microsoft assistance.

I am on released version of Windows 10.

I am using version 1.05 of Start10.

I can now access the Windows 10 start menu - I did not change any software.

I hate problems like this and I do not agree that it was an OS issue.

Since the problem went away, close this issue.

One of Murphy's Laws

"Nothing bad ever goes away"

The problem has manifested itself again.

I uninstalled Start10 and reinstalled even though I was on V1.05.

It did not change the problem.

I need some advise on how to resolve.
