Bug: Portal update/refresh problem

Portal is being updated(refreshed) only when files are changed by windows explorer?

I have created a portal to "downloads", and set view to details/sort by modification date, so I can easily see last downloaded files.

The problem is that the portal isn't refreshed when I download a new file (I'm using chrome).

In general, portals aren't refreshed if programs other than "windows explorer" are changing files (I've tested: Chrome, Photoshop, (MS)Notepad, (MS)Paint ...)

Each time I download a new file, I have to manually refresh a portal (rightclick>refresh) which is pointless

I have the Same problem, the icons in fences on my desktop disappear randomly, to get them back I have to manually refresh
