??? Curser XP and Stardock Central

I've bought curser XP awhile ago, and I had been trying to register it through Stardock Central, but never could. Then I noticed that curser XP has been updated 2/26. So I thought I would install that through the Stardock Central and then register the new download. It downloaded everything and unpacked everything, but at the end of the process said "installation failed". I'm wondering if I should uninstall curser xp and retry the whole thing through SC, or just download everything again outside of SC. Or wait for SC to develop further.

I've never seen cursor XP on the component manager. It doesn't show up on any of the panes.

(I do have 'veiw all components' selected, BTW)

CursorXP Plus 120. I just got it in December though. Do you have to pay for the update or is it a download?

I only knew about it because I was looking on Stardock Central... but downloading there did not succeed (maybe I should uninstall it first and try again?).

I don't think you have to pay for an update. Thats one of the many good things about stardock..

Keila : If You use Stardock support site https://www.stardock.com/support.asp You will get a re-mail with the links to the newest versions for Your registered programs. But You will need to fill in the e-mail adress You were registering with.

c242:??? I did mine yesterday and it worked fine. Uninstall the old version first and then do a new install. Should be ok.

GM, you may want to uninstall it, then use Stardock Central to install the new version.

For people who don't know- Stardock Central will be replacing the existing Component Manager and will also show you components that you have purchased even if you do not have the full Object Desktop, or if you purchased something else through Stardock like CursorXP.

You can download it from: http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral085.exe

Hi, KG. I uninstalled it and deleted the folders and rebooted. Now it fails even sooner!

I figured it out, I had to refresh the SC database manually, and then it was an even newer version. So now my cursers are pretty again. Thanks!

If I uninstall v1.20 to install 1.30, will I lose my themes or does the folder stay put.
