This whole plugin-filter thing isnt fair

some people said it worked for them, lol, but not for me, and I really was excited when I found them too. This is the place I was trying to get them at http://www.a-b-z.net/index.php but when I try using in psp7 they say missing file and stuff.... grrrrr >

Is this the FIRST filter you've ever installed?

JamMeister33: do you have some script running that creates random text when you hit the submit button?
please elaborate: what looks "somewhat shady" to you?

I read your first post last night, and I downloaded those KIWI filter myself just to see if they work in my PSP. They are in German or sweedish (Not sure which) but they DO work. (BTW I did a virus scan on the file first as I always do when I download) The file contains a number of 8bf (filter) files and you have to be sure to put these files in your PSP "plugin" folder, then make sure your PSP program is directed to look for this"plugin folder" for plugins/filters. You do that by going to "File" then "preferences" then "file locations", then click on the "plugin" tab, then make sure the location where the Kiwi filters are is listed . (you actally can put the KIWI filters anywhere on your hard drive, but in order for them to work, PSP needs to know where to find them by using the process I just described. Good luck.

some Photoshop filters (not all) do require Photoshop and won´t run on other software.

Moshi
That's tru, however, it cant be a filter strictly for photoshop as it works fine in my PSP 7

look at the site again. most of the "downloads" are links to the websites of the companies that produce these plug-ins. the others are freeware when the distribution is allowed. you´ll also notice that some files have been removed, because of copyright issues.

that´s just the same at Wincustomize. people upload rips, and sometimes they get through and removed later. not to speak of all the illegal stuff at Wincustomize that steals design copyrighted by Apple, QNX or other companies

That's all I was talkin' about moshi...
I only took a quick look through and it seemed 'somewhat' shady to me...
I'll take a more in-depth look at it today.

Hum... Didn't look anything close to shady to me.
Looks very legit to me. Not even close to any warez sites out there.
Most warez sites are very ugly, with black and red, lots of contrats. And the layout is usually all over the place. Seems software pirates and crackers all have that "mystic underground" kinda taste. Nothing like this site, which seems like somebody actually took the trouble of designing a real layout.

K, Iben, why the link?
The link on AB-Z's website fot Eye Candy, is a link to the demo version. Perfectly legal.
