Something like Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro to do the images and a good text editor or html editor to write the code.

Code? You mean there isn't anything that lets you do it visually? And how would I compile it into a skin file? You can't just type code out and leave it there!

Blue Arctic....all that is needed to skin WMP is a graphics proggy and a text editor...just like 'most' other skinnable proggies.
If I managed it, anyone can...

Jafo, Lots of noobies won't start creating a skin from nothing. You've to give them some scratche. (I'm writing down how to ADJUST a wmp skin, is that alright too??)

Yes..the best way to work out what does what in a skin is by messing around with an existing one...

Okay so if all you need is a text editor and a graphic program, then could someone tell me exactly how to do it or point me to a website or something that explains it?
