JAFO, permission question.

Hey, I saw there were already 2 cursor xp x-box theme's. I got the idea to make a complete theme based on the x-box collors/style. Its going pretty fast, and the cursor xp theme is already done. (the startpanel is also skinnen (make it inn wb) ) now I was wondering, do you want permissions of x-box in the zip before you allow it??

If you used any graphics that are not your own, like the X-Box logo, or bits from existing X-Box skins, you need permission to use those. If you've simply used a color scheme that gives an X-Box feel, you don't need permission for that.

And just for the record, Jafo is not the only moderator watching these boards. Even he sleeps once in a while.

You'll get faster answers if you address the admins in general, rather than someone specific.

I know, but when you call the name jafo, there comes people from evrywhere

but 1 thing, If I didn't RIP the logo, but make one myself with the letter x, (not like their x, but it gives you the fealing) then I don't need permissions?

I'd say that if you made your own X that is substantially different from their logo, and you didn't include the word X-Box, it would be ok.
