Blondie66's Question Thread.

You asked for it Static so here it is!
Nah, actually I have another question , I've got CursorXP which is great but how do I get my cursor back to the default white one, I know it's Ctrl + Shift + something I just can't remember.

Ctrl + Shift + C will toggle CursorXP on an off.

That was too easy ..

Ctrl-Shift-C but you can configure it to something else. I personally have it set as Ctrl-Shift-U as Ctrl-Shift-C is used to copy a merged image in Paintshop Pro.

Can someone tell me please how to make the colour of the backgrounds lighter, i.e this one I'm tying in now matches in with my blind but it's a bit too dark for me, and not sure in appearance/advanced which section to adjust.
Thank you.

I would just load the image in my paint program, adjust the levels and save it.

I only want to make the window backgrounds lighter, the rest of the blind is superb. I'm not familiar with paint programs.

Are they custom backgounds (ie, included with the skin)? You can look in the 'settings' tab of WB and select the 'backgrounds' button. This will let you override them if you want.

Otherwise you can try changing the window background color in the 'display settings' (windows, not WB) to a lighter color.

It doesn't seem to be working , I'm sure it can be changed in display/appearance/advanced but I don't know which segment to alter

Whichever I choose it doesn't seen to do anythng

Blondie, a lot of artists will not have the color option set on their blinds. So you will not be able to change it.

Oh I see, maybe that's why I can't change it then , thank you WOM.

Blondie, most of the time the artist tries it and it makes the skin look bad so they don't use it. If it is a plain jane color then it will look ok and they will code it in. If your talking about Lavender sunset it is not coded for color options as are none of her other skins.

I understand WOM, but I thought I could just change the background colour from being a deep purple to being something a little lighter, by background colour I mean this little message box I'm typing in here now, it's dark purple and the background of my usual chatroom is darl purple too, and find it hard to see my type if you understand what I mean. The blind itself is fantastic I love it but just have like to have made the odd background box a little lighter.
