LogonStudio problems....

Right then, here goes...

The program in question has started playing up. When I open a downloaded logon, the file doesn't appear in the list of logons installed in LogonStudio. Basically, I cant get anymore new logons. Has anyone else had this problem?
I've tried repairing and reinstalling the software and its done nothing...any suggestions?

I haven't had that problem so I'm not sure. But since you didn't mention a logon specifically try this:

download the logon you want and save it to your desktop

Use Winzip or similar to unzip the file. If you use Winzip you can right click it and choose 'open with' and select winzip executable. There should be a bunch of .bmps an .ini and maybe a few other things. If all this stuff is in there and the file has an .logonxp extension it should load in fine if you double click it.

If when you unzip it there is more than one .logonxp inside or a .zip file that is the problem. If more than one .logonxp are in there extract one out and try double clicking that and see if it loads. If it is a .zip then extract that out and open it up. If there is a bunch of .bmp and a .ini in there just change the extension to .logonxp, then double click it. If there is a .logonxp inside the .zip extract it out and double click on it.

Please provide a Logon example if you are still having problems

Open logon studio then press load button browse to the file you downloaded .

Well, I didn't provide a specific logon because it happens with all of them. Even ones that were installed into LogonStudio by myself when it was working, I have deleted them from it and attempted to reinstall them...but to no avail.

HOWEVER...having left the PC over night, I have just reinstalled LogonStudio for about the 4th time to remedy the problem...and it's worked. PC's, I hate them
