Is there a way to search for skins done by a particular author?

well, if you click on the author's name, it'll bring up an information page. On the bottom left hand corner is a link that will link you to all the arts the author has submitted

However, what if you do not know the names of the skins done by a particular author?

Say you see the name of the author in one of the forum threads, eg Josh Feldman.

In that case, you can probably find Josh's name and did just as what I had described above. Click on his name and view all the works he's done

Just click on the name 'Josh Feldman'.

Eg, on this, here post of mine, clicking on 'Jafo' will get you to my works via the info popup...

Actually, slight correction: Clicking on Jafo's name (or anybody's name for that matter) will open his profile page in a popup, at the bottom of which there is a link that says "Click to view author's skins".
Clcik on that link and it will list you the list, with thumnails, of everything he has submitted to this site.

Alternatively if you see a name mentioned but they haven't actually posted a message you can click the library link on the left and put their name in the box at the top to search for all their stuff.
