Help in Creating my own themes and logins??

I've just brought Windows XP and i have installed winstyles and all the other software with it. The design's are excellent, i want to learn how to create my own designs, i'm a complete beginner!!

Can anyone help me get started???

or take a look at the stardock tutorials

Or

take a look at the skins themselves and make changes to them. see what happens when yu change a bitmap color and where it goes. look at the code (ini file)

Programs like Beatnik, Sysmetrix and CursorXP are pretty easy to skin for newbies and easy to break down.

Then give DesktopX a try and move up to other stuff.
