Can't use Stardock Central

OK, I got a big problem.
Every time I open Stardock Central, it crashes upon updating itself. Actually, it always crashes exactly at the same place: at 70% into the process of downloading sdcentral.ex_. Then BOUM, "Stardock Central has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

The old Component Manager doesn't work anymore since I installed Stardock Central. So I'm stuck. I can't update any Object Desktop software. Help! :/

Patric...just install the 'full' one over the 'faulty' one.
It's a fault with an older update, it seems.

This one works...

Jafo, I could no longer be satisified using my computer without Object Desk. It makes my day .... every day. But I do have a question for you: If I purchase a suite from Pixtudio (actually several such as PixOS which just totally amazes me, and I bought Logika some time back and also the Pixtudio theme from back when it was being sold) does this in some way support Stardock? I mean are they "sponsored" by Stardock the way WinCustomize is?

Well, I downloaded Stardock Central but I'm afraid to install it, I believe I'll just wait until the bugs are worked out....

the bugs are gone from what I can tell I run both the newest release and winc-browser together and it's working just fine.

the issue I think was with not following along with each new patch, maybe?

on this system I did that, every single one and it updated fine.
on my laptop it went URP at 70% and I had not auto updated it since installing it the first time around, don't think I ran it really after the initial installation to check it out....

HuronJoe....in a way, yes.
There is more than one way to support Wincustomize.com than specifically purchasing a Stardock product.
Contribution to the skinning 'community' can be in many ways, such as interacting on this site, ;and/or others], uploading skins, subscriptions, buying products/skins. It all 'contributes' to the community.
Additionally, in the case of Alexandrie and Treetog in particular, they are Admins here, so supporting them will enable them to afford more time to 'administer'...

Or, you could just buy me a Porsche...I won't mind...

Is this wrong: I have Component Manager and Stardock Central installed on my machine and I can run them both at the same time. Each one gives me a different update. For example Component Manager notified me of WB 3.90f(which crashed my system) and Stardock Central notified me of IconPackager. Strange huh?

Jafo thanks for the information feedback and as far as the Porsche goes your out of luck unless you could settle for a picture of one.
Also I hate to keep asking so many questions but: Is it considered proper "Netiquet" (lousy speller so you have to read some words phonetically) to ask a question on someone else's post? Also I notice that the little envelope icon on each opened post changes from an open envelope to one with what looks like a page or document next to the envelope, does that mean that the number of answers inside the post has changed?
