A skinning question

If you submitted for moderation and if they are not in your library anymore...then it probably means they were rejected. Don't give up though, try to get better

MrGupps, they may have been rejected. What kind of skins were they? If you upload a wallpaper, you will get an email if it is accepted. With most other skins, you will usually get an email if it is rejected.

Btw, you dont get E-Mailed for a rejection anymore, but you do get one if your submission is approved

The rejection email is usually still sent on any skin that gets rejected, to explain why it was not accepted. We do not send rejection emails on wallpapers though. If what you submitted were wallpapers and not skins you will only get a notice if they are accepted.

That's the spirit Mr Grupps, I rejected so many of my own wallpapers before I submitted any, it wasn't funny. But I fianally hit on something that seemed to do all right.

Gupps (or do I call u Guppy), the number of skins rejected by WC varies inversely eith your experience as a skinner.

As a newbie, I had to face a lot of rejections (trust me on this, I mean a lot when I say a lot). So don't be disappointed. I'll tell you something that Sir WOM told me, something that helped me a lot.

Don't try for that perfect skin that will please everybody, such a skin doesn't exist. If you aim for that, you'll end up pleasing nobody, not even yourself. Try instead to create skins for yourself, art that is an expression of your own self. And such work is bound to succeed.
