Bug: Resolution change messes up taskbar size

I have an ultra high definition screen.

I added a toolbar (aka quicklaunch) to my task bar.

When I run applications that change the resolution and then come back to windows, the task bar re-sizes incorrectly. It adds an extra row to my toolbar area.

 

It happens every time, whether the taskbar is locked or not. I disabled start10 and the problem goes away.

bump. this problem still exists and i tried changing the icon to the default icon and it still messes up.

Bump. This problem is driving me insane. Sometimes the start bar will take up half the entire screen height!
