KVM mode on windows 10 secondary

When trying to connect to a secondary running windows 10 from a primary running windows 7 it goes to a black screen and then shortly says "Connection lost."

I found a thread where someone mentioned it being an issue in earlier beta versions (here: https://forums.stardock.com/466804 ) but it seems to still be a problem for me...

Is there something I need to do differently?

Make sure your network is set to private and not public on both machines.(Specifically Windows 10)
