It has been bought to my attention that in order to acquire a wallpaper from this site you dont need to download it, u simply need to right-click and click "save picture as" This certainly must not continue! When someone aqcuires a picture without downloading it he/she is depriving the author of an additional count in the downloads counter. This must be stopped as soon as possible!!

I understand that if u are doing this it can have bad repurcussions, but if one can do it without anyone knowing the problem will acclivate until it is a prodigous defect in the community.

hmmmm... right click and saving? I thought the image on the site was a small thumb nail of the original image? I would upload a 1024x768 and the server makes a smaller thumb of the image OR upload a smaller image for the preview that would not be anywhere near a regular size wall but good enough for a preview.

If someone wants only a thumb then I guess they don't care if it is small and icky.

Joetheblow, i dont think u understand. I mean when they click on the picture as a preview, then right click then "save picture as"

What's the problem with that MrGupps? That will work on any site with any picture, even the interface graphics.

If someone is going to save the preview rather than the zip file they miss out on the different sizes and possibly better quality in the zip. That's their prerogative.

I don't see where there's any problem with that.

not in the least, and besides number of downloads isn't part of the rating as far as I know, I very well could be wrong about that, but I don't see the connection...
