Im currently thinking of making a texturizer for

-for personal use- would be a good idea, what do you
think?

well, dunno how you plan to hook it into being able to deal with the paint engine and over ride blinds, dtx, ob or od really...

thing is if your wanting to texture a theme or skin, all of the graphics are there on your system and you can texture away as you please...

I'd take a shot at it if you've a personal interest in it and see what you come up with, if you like it, offer it for others to check out with some screen shots?

down and dirties, addon apps, plugins, etc always have a good place in the evolution of graphical products

might prove to be some interesting effects come from it maybe even set it up so you can do regions, bars, etc selectively

On a related (maybe) note.... Just saw this proggy that will allow you to make 'global' changes to a series of images...

Might be useful to lighten a dark skin, or darken a light skin to suit your personal preferences..

there is a commercial/shareware program called DCE Auto Enhance by Medichance.com http://www.mediachance.com it is fan flipping tastic for digital photos and also graphics...

They also produce PhotoPaint, RealDraw Pro and a few other apps, that are mind blowing for the price.

RealDraw gives Photoshop a good run for it's money when you compare quality to price and ROI, unless your working professionally in the graphics field and have a true need for Photoshop...

It will also make use of all Plugins and Filters that meet the standard and also PaintShopPro tubes

anyway, just another option...
