Desktop Icons

Normally desktop icons can be replaced with the IconPackager incl. folders, drives and icons for some applications. On the other hand there are icons such like for Outlook Express, Win Media Player, My documents etc. which can't be replaced with this program. Is there any way to replace such fixed icons.
Other point I would like to know whether the text and fonts under the desktop icons can be replaced resp. modified and how? The question is not to change the text by rename, but to make the letters, fonts bigger, different and other colors.

Thanks

right click the app icon " outlook express" and then on the window that pops up on the lower right hand side above the bottom set of buttons there is a "change icon" button, click it and then browse around for the one you want to use...

I am pretty sure this same thing can be done inside ObjectDock also for any application you add to it if you make use of it...

Thanks IPlural. I'l try but anyhow if we are talking abou the icon packager which exchnages only a package but not single icons. As far as I know it's like that. How is about the fonts resp. text? Is ther any way to exchange/create new text on the bottom of desktop icons (icons name)

the function (registry key or cpl) or program it is linked to will stay the same, just named something else on the desktop is all...
