Originally I began working on this poem for Fuzzy but as I getting ready to finish it and heard the dire news about our precious WOM I now think it's apropos for both of them... I thought I'd share...no need for comments on this bitty post...just a look-see for those who want to keep thinking good and positive thoughts for our precious members who need our love and support and white positive mental light right now…

Titled, "Inside"

There is a place inside my heart that I go to
Where the light shines so brightly as to blind
It banishes the darkness that tries to hurt me
Strengthening my soul and clarifying my mind.

Bird of wisdom sings her lilting notes so sweetly
I listen intently until I learn her gentle song
The most beautiful notes that I’ve ever heard aloud
They finally inspire me to bravely sing along.

This is a place that everyone knows
In this paradise we are safe and warm
And if we believe the gifts we receive
This place will heal us and keep us from harm…

You have the key and you have the will
So, unlock it and you’ll easily find
That the greatest power and strength there is
Is the power of your soul and your mind…

I miss you guys

But my heart will smile for you...as it must do...because negative thoughts do no good for you...

so here's my smiles just for you...

36 is not old. GOSH! I'm 49, so I must be ancient. Ive been writting poetry since I was a child also. Just for fun though. I got my interest and a lot of knowledge from my father. He's a playwright. As far back as I can remember, I saw my Father at his typewriter every single day. (though now he's progressed to a computer which we bought for him)

Wow...you write poetry too? DO you have a website to display it? ph00ey has been thinking of letting some artists/poets/etc. have some space on his new huge, and roomy website...if ya ever wanna have some space to express your creative lil' darlin' self.

Angela that's nice and it should cheer up Fuzzy wuzzy some...

I myself would not dare to try my hand at writing poetry (w/ my spelling and wording plus it's just not my thing)
but I do love to read it! (yes I'm weird) hehe
I starting peeking at poetry over at DA not sure but maybe a year ago or so and got kinda hooked on it and I think it's neat the way a person's heart comes out in poetry.

Funny...I thought I was pretty much a 'solitary' poet until I went online and saw that a LOT of people think they are poets (some good, a few greats and some...well never mind).

well I got hooked on it over at DA cuz I was caught up in some whirlwind love affair between two members over there that were writing poetry to each other online and up'ing it over at DA and out of all the mass poetry it was mixed up together w/ during upload over there that I started reading I noticed something between "these two ppl" and you could just feel something I dunno (though the two never mentioned names of each other) I knew the two were writing to each other... hehe

and sure enough the two got together and I think they got married last year sometime, I got to read the poem he wrote about the moment they met when she flew to him and it was betterrr than a movie I swear! hehe
(because I left comments on their poetry they both contacted me privately, that was so neat too)

Have you seen ph00ey's poems on his website?

He says 'I' inspired his poetry...'pishaw' I say..."you had it in you" but he gives me credit where it is NOT due.

yeah there were a few of those kinds of poetry saga's going on over there but that one in particular got me hooked on poetry, some poetry over there is ummm not for kids... hehe
and some were so sad to see how lost some lil kids can get over love (those scared me to read, some sounded suicidal)

but yes alot of emotion and heart is revealed in poetry I think (even though alot of ppl dislike it)
actually I never paid it any mind either until DA
