trash can/recycle bin

is there any way to make the icon an empty trash can when there are no files in the recycle bin, and the icon a full trash can when there are. and yes, i do have both icons. thanks!

Make it a desktopX object. you can also empty the recycle bin by clicking on the icon when you use DX. I don't know if you can do it without DX.

You failed to mention what you would like to use to change the icons... the OS's built in interface is right click on the desktop for all Microsoft OS's and then chose properties. select desktop tab... each one is different from that point. are you talking about a specific prog like Icon packager?

ObjectDock can also do this.... I just remembered.

In Win2K the Display Properties box (right-click/properties on the desktop) has a tab named "effects". That is where you select the Recyle Bin icons.

sorry guys, i forgot this message board was for everything. i am using desktopx. and i have a zoomer of an empty trash can and a zoomer of a full trash can...does that help? sorry
