Maybe I'm just stupid...

Hit the print screen button. This places your current desktop in the clipboard. You can then paste the image into any paint program and save it.

Do a print screen. Top right of your keyboard. Open a paint program and paste it there. Save it as a jpeg or bmp, depending on what you want it for.

Press shift and print screen buttons then open paint program then click edit button paste.

Or you could use a camera...get it developed at the Chemist....scan it and put it into a graphic proggy....but that could be a little 'complicated'...

hmm....yea.....definitely think i'll stick with a quick strike of the print screen button. seems to work quite nicely.

Take your digital camera, take a picture of the screen in front of you, print it out, mail it to your mother....

'Alt Print Screen' will just catch the 'focussed' window, not the whole desktop...

my mother doesn't care what my desktop looks like but thanks for thinking of her.

okay so here's another stupid questions because i'm lame and can't seem to figure anything out....if i download a cursor package or whatever. how do i get them to work???

Depends what you download. Almost everything except the wallpapers here require a software to run the skin/theme.
For example, if you want to run a Cursor XP cursor et, you need to first download and install the application called Cursor XP. If you want to run a Windowblinds skins, you need to first download and install the application called Windowblinds. You get the drift?
At the top of each library section, you'll find links to the need application.
