I have a question

Why is it that a animal " cat or dog" can not walk 2 more feet and puke on a tile or linoleum floor instead of doing it on the carpet? >

Two days in a row now, first the cat yesterday and now one of the dogs today.

I don't know, Keila, but of what I remember from my past year experiences, when one wants to puke, there's hardly time to run to a place to do so if you're sick and a bit weak...

Then again, I couldn't walk when I was sick... no strength in my legs whatsoever

The only place my cat doesn't Puke is in her box (bed). Every other place is free game to her. Chair, couch rug, it doesn't matter. HUM!!

Well, would you puke in your bed?

That's funny. Our cat just did that the other night ... right on the carpet, no more than a foot from the linoleum kitchen floor. I think it's a conspiracy.

Well, as Robin Williams puts it, a cat enjoys doing stuff to things you own that it knows you couldn't possibly clean up easily

Conspiracy, that's it!

Watch out Koasati, they might be coming to get you too.

What's better? Pick up your dog (I have mini-dachshunds) when you know they are going to puke and put them on the hard floor. What will they do? Turn around and run back on the carpet and puke. I think it is revenge for having them "fixed".

Well, this is why I don't believe in carpeting. No where for these cute animals to puke.

I hope to own two large golden retrievers someday. I love them. They're absolutely gorgeous

How about the puke in the food bowl trick?
I have 3 cats and it like one saying " if it is not going to agree with me you shall not have any either"

Kitties, they love their owners, don't they?

Cats tolerate their owners is more like it.

They are so low to the floor, they just don't want the splash back.....

I love animals.. I haven't been to a pleasing zoo in a long time

Yeah, mine has hit the food bowl a few time too' I think the carpet reminds them of grass.

Simple question. Simple answers - revenge for precieved injustices committed against their four footed folk, i.e. the gas chambers, getting "fixed", being smushed in the streets by cars, low fat diets, baths, not getting up to let them out at 4:22 AM to do their business, and finally as my old cat has said before----it gives them something to do. >

Boomer gets this totally disgusted look on his face when my wife chases him off one of the couches or chairs, and he will down right fight for his right to sleep with his head on my pillow when I'm not making use of it

oh on another thought, I'll be taking him to the beach this coming weekend and should get some good pic's of him romping and such, have to change my desktop if I get a really good one

Dog's look around at the way human's live, turning on lights, opening doors, getting them food from the fridge, etc, etc, and think WOW they must be God's.
Cat's watch human's do these things and think "WOW" I must be a God.
