DSL, cable. It helps with both. Though... gah - those are even worse if you're on cable. O.o

Blocky on channels over 100 when my furnace runs. At this time of year that is quite often in Wisconsin.

Nope, all 4 TVs work fine. And all 500 channels are nice I still think it's because they don't have all the new fiber down yet.

I tried this page a few months ago. Didn't do anything for me. I get an average of 200-300kb and max of 600 kb download(for about three seconds at 4:30 in the morning once a blue moon) and about 40kb upload on average with cable. It's still better than dialup though
