Telling me there is a Fences Update Available

Hi all.

I have Fences v.1.01.143 and I keep getting a box appearing saying that there is a Fences Update Available. But when I click on 'Learn More', I am just taken to a page where I'm expected to pay for it. Is this right? Do I really have to pay for an update to a program I already have? If so, I will stick with the version I have as I can't justify spending the money.

Fences 1.x is very old indeed now and does not work correctly on Windows 8 or 10.

Fences 2.x does indeed require payment.

Most likely you're being sent to the Fences 2 website, which is an upgrade to the supported version of Fences.

Oh that's a shame. I'll see what's what with WX and have a think about maybe getting the new version in the future. Thanks for the replies
