Something on the Poll

Ok, now is "Future" refering to Tomorrow, hundred years, in a hour? The Future ranges from the millist of a second to the very unknown. Need more info. Because I could mark all three and it would still be right

I guess it all boils down to your definition of the future. I see mine with a man I love, so it has to be good, regardless

I actually cannot wait for the day that he'll propose.. (hope he does...) and the day we get married. Apologies to my parents for not giving them a taiwanese son-in-law...

and seeing that he does come here and read threads, I probably shouldn't be posting all of this... oh well, he'll know sooner or later

Hey, it might be a boot in the ass to get him moving

I always need one.

Nah, he's graduating this year (Christmas) and I don't want to rush him until he's comfortable to move on his own pace. I'll just be a burden to him if I rush him and he'll not be prepared. That will just lead to an unhappy future and maybe even regrets, if you know what I mean

Yea.. I still have to wait another 2.5 years till my fiancee is out of college before we can get married. If we would do it before that, she would lose alot of her funding.

Oh, I see what you mean. I'm probably still going to be in college for a long long time, so Rob and I might end up marrying before I graduate or something, I don't know. His choice, but I think my parents are still supporting me education wise if I just keep going and stuff

Have you proposed to her yet?
Wait, you just called her your fiancee.. nevermind

Hang in there Weaksid, 2.5 years isn't all that long. I think I have more like.. 4-5 years ahead of me than anything else...

I did have 4-5years. But she's been in college for 2.5 already 2majors and 1minor.. Which she said she could get a second minor if she took like another half a year. I got to say she works her ass off
I'm still figuing out my issue.. /me forever confused

I went right into the work force, I'm a late college person. By almost 4years. Dang, I could of had my degree by now. I only would of had to take a year and so for my Electro Mechanical Technology degree since I took classes at the Vo-tech when I was in High School. But I blew that. Just like I could of had Eagle Scout but I left before I had that. Man, why did it take me so long to realize what I did was a mistake?

/me kicks his ass several times for doing stupid stuff

O'well, I'm going to try to make it up this time since I have some more help to push me. That's how you know the person is for you. They will help you in any way that they can and push you in the right direction most of the time.

Oh to be young again. Que sera, sera. That's Life. On the back end in OC's case.

what in the world does the fact that there is such a similarity between her father and her sig-other have to do with her wanting to marry her father?

Fraudian (no that is not a type-o) dynamics drenched in wine and dusted in cocaine?

btw just because he wanted to tumble his mum, doesn't make everyone a incestuous twit

Back to the subject................
I would prefer a fourth answer;
The future will be later than today.
fourth answer to what?

"what is the future"?

the future is what is built upon the past that we deal with in the present of today..
examples of that fact all around pretty much

the future is a concept based upon an image of reality which we create from past experience/history combined with our actions and in-actions of the present...

just my wackybobo pov, screwy as it is, it is all I have...

which is one of the largest stumbling blocks that seems to always trip humanity up
in creating a present that ensures the best possible paths to a desired positive future...

anyway... I'll leave this thread be and just lurk in it...
