Connection problem.

Got the software, downloaded it and installed it with no problems. Then they want you to fill in your user information, which I did, but whenever I hit "update configuration" button I get an error: Connection failed: Name not resolved or Update fail reason. I've tried all of the server selections and none of them seem to work for me. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

wolfgangpc....
Try to limit as many questions as possible to just the one thread.
There is no need, nor is it welcome, to start a new one each time. Doing so pushes older threads further down unnecessarily....

dunno if this has been nailed down or not, sooo....

I have the same setup here on this link... Netgear rt314 Gateway Router with NAT, Westell WIreSpeed DSL router...

you did click on the " User Information " icon on the left hand side and entered your user information and serial number, then clicked update, correct?

Then you click on the icon on the left " Available Components" a list will be downloaded, then you highlight each one selectivly, or you can highlight all and then click download...

Next you click on the " Downloaded Components" and pick the ones you wish to install.

Then they should show up under the " Installed Components " once your done loading what you want...

If that has all been done, you might have something in your software firewall or internet connection security settings nixing things up...

just a few thoughts, possibilites?

good luck, and if already fixed, cool
