Steam workshop guidelines for uploading?

So, a while back, I posted a custom faction based off of something from a TV sow, and it got banned. Does anyone know why? I've posted at least 6 other factions from the same show, and they weren't banned, and I see a lot of other content from other shows, and many other crazy things.

I've already contacted the steam support thingy, but I'd also like some guidance about this, mostly because steam support is unresponsive as heck. Is there any reason anyone can think of that would get a custom faction banned?

It was not raunchy in any way, had no curse words, and had custom pictures taken from the internet (pictures made by fans). I've made several other factions similar to this, and have noticed other people having the same sort of thing as well.

Any ideas?

What was the TV show?

And, Who was the character that was banned? Steam may have gotten a specific complaint from the actor or their agent.

My Little Pony: Friendshio is Magic.

You can see why I didn't specifically mention it. The character banned was Applejack, but I have like 5 other factions with other characters from the show, and only that one was banned. It was also my most popular faction on the workshop, so there's that.

I had the same thing happen.  It was just a dopy test upload i did.  Leader was Megatron (from transformers),  and i only used GC3 stock art

LOL, my grandson is a MLP person, so I sort of understand.

I don't understand why it was banned and the others weren't. I doubt you are going to get an answer from Steam.

There are voice actors involved. It is possible that the actor for Applejack happened to become aware of your use of the image and complained. I am sure that Steam would not hesitate to remove any faction if a complaint is lodged.

But the voice actor voices two characters on the show... two of which are put up, and only one of them was taken down. Not to mention, the whole corporation involving MLP is pretty lax about fanwork in general; there are hundreds of thousands of fanfiction, art, videos, etc. made and only a ridiculously small number (like maybe a dozen) have ever been taken down.

I don't know, copyright infringement doesn't seem to be the issue; I can't figure it out at all.
