Console no longer available and shipdesigns from steam workshop cause crashes

Hi, i dont know is it on porpouse or just a mistake but since the patch to 1.1 i cant access the console anymore. it is realy anoying because this is the only way to design ships without having to play hours and hours just to get access to larger hulls. i must say im realy disapointed in wich direction this game is going. we have the final release and its still not working. with every patch it gets worse. i tryed to implement some ships from steam workshop and when i click on them to use them as a new design, game crashes. it cant be that hard to make sure your ingame suff is compatible with the the games on other computers. im a longtime GC2 player and i have to say this game is no improvement at all. keyfunctions like a shipdesigner in the main menu are still missing, awarded ships for custom races doesnt appear. even modding the game is a pain because you never know if your work will survive the next patch.

 

btw. the user manual button in the main menu isnt working.

Where in  the hell is the console window it was a great tool to test things in the game.  I have been enjoying the game very much until now.  Please return the console window.

Add "cheat" to the command line options. That should allow you to access the dev console.

Can't say I've had any issue with ship designs causing crashes. Maybe you should list which ship designs seem to crash for you.

and how do i do it? im just a gamer so i have no idea how to activate cheat mode.

the ship i remember was the T.A.S. Intrepid. rest i dont know, i deleted every ship from workshop.
