Theres some problem with MP using custom factions with long list of peks. Loading screen stucks at 'Loading custom faction data...'.
Tested all sizes of maps, same thing. Work good with standart races and custom races with amount of perks with out scroll.
We created a vpn and all starts to work. So if one of players has a router thers gona be a problem.
How is this still a bug? This is very frustrating. My dad and I have been trying to play with our custom races for the last three weeks without success because of this bug. Whoever creates the game gets "Loading Custom Faction Data" and the other person gets "Loading Map" forever. We thought this might be fixed in 1.1. Very disappointing to see that it is not.

Well, maybe you could actually fix it in one of the many patches that are being made? Considering it's a part of the game that many people were excited about immensely. Or perhaps you could fix it, like a variety of other bugs, instead of pumping out a DLC already?
I'm sorry for my crass tone, but it's one of the main reasons my brother and me got the game, along with it's detailed ship editing system, and we'd just really like to play as our own races together!
