Space.... and people on Mars

Space.... and people on Mars

I always though having a Moon station was dangerous considering that space objects hit the Moon all the time. I do think a space station would be more productive. On the moon there could be a away station for emergencies and safe harbor from space showers or a ship needing help.

A Mars station seems to me a great focus for NASA. There could be a colony there and be relatively safe. 3 stations between Mars and Earth would be safe.

Instead of a space shuttle, there would be a focus on a space plane that takes off like a plane and coasts up to space and changes to rocket or other propulsion power.

I think many things should be solved here on Earth though, but by 2200 space travel should really start and hopefully we as a human race would have reached maturity in some way.

So as far as my schedule for space travel, I think we should focus on a new shuttle program and new propulsion systems. Inter-planetary travel is the new focus. Away stations, new experiments and space on the human condition will also be priorities.

I love space and space travel. Not sure if we as humans deserve to explore that yet without owning up to problems on Earth and a habit to destroy stuff.

What does the message board say of this?

As the president of the UN my focus will be on free education, shelter and food for all human kind. Period. But somewhere in my mind I would hope we could do a community space endevor and go to Mars.

correct as far as I can see it, there is no absolutes, the fact that funding comes under review constantly, etc... who could there be any real direction?

Do you know that if they had not cut funding out of the budget for NASA and the Space Station, there would have been an escape shuttle that could have probably met those 7 people in orbit and landed in it instead of riding a lame pony in..

But no one puts all the pieces together, or they buy into what is forced fed to them in the news media, or polls, speaking of polls, I've never been called for a poll, but I sure have been bent over and polled...

Beam of light, 2 cans and a thread. Both the same.

If time travel was possible wouldn't you expect someone from the future to already have traveled back to our time?

actually the view curently is that time travel is possible and I have always wondered why we have not seen some one from the future how ever they say that it is only possible by bridge between two black holes one old and one young and the reason that some one from the future hasent visited us, is that the way that time travel will work is to stop one of these black holes from agein and travel between them so you cant go farther back than the time that you started the time travel experiment

Dleisous, how do we know they haven't?

Time is subjective in nature, it is a creationof human kind as a means of measurement and beyond that holds no meaning really.

The fact that it has been proven that with sufficant speed you can actually chage time on two identical clocks engineered to be so precise that they will keep exact time until the end of time is rather mind bogling, that or the tax payers got screwed

Ethics, might make such a huge jump impossible...

Time travel into the future is pretty much prov-en, by NASA and the Air Force back in the 40's and 50's. But travel back in time, that was never attempted ( which I doubt very much) as far as the publicly released research states.

ah, absoultes, time is a word with a definition for a concept that man kind came up with to describe the one thing that was niggling when trying to sleep at night and be there for work in the morning

it is a means of measurment, it could have been name Grog...

Then we would always be pressed for Grog instead of for time

granted, means of measurement are key to understanding, science, life in general, existance, knowing where we stand at what point in time and what came before us and what might come after.

but in the end, it is still something totally human in nature, something we've put into a box as we do out of need for keeping chaso at bay.

anyway I'll be null now, no telling what time I will stop if started

seriously, you need to go to sleep, because sleeping while learning is counter productive even if your eyes are open

time is not absolute it is relative and are you talkin about the philadelphia experiments with the future time travel???

Oh ! martin, if you'd like to have something to consider that might be new to you, try this, I've been working it over for a couple of years now and came up with some parts of it, but, the more the more likely.

If you had an means of causing a counter revolution against the earths revolutionary direction, at the point it went one revolution faster, you would have null g.

You would have to put such a thing into a Gimbel stanchion, base, with adequate sensors so it could keep true equatorial plane with the earth through the seasons and what not, that our you'd end up with human jelly all over the walls. so null G would and could be sustained. Direction propulsion could be of a means to repulse the magnetic fields of the earth, though with the sun spots and such that is not the best solution. There has to be another better suited to the task.

I've looked into designs of centrifuges but the lack the stability and speed, a super collider would do it, but I doubt you could shrink one enough, though maybe?

anyway, what I am thinking of is gravitational lift and planetary propulsion based upon the magnetic fields criss crossing the planet.

might sound silly, I guess it does sound silly, but at the same time I think possible...

also most other thing you want to know in life can also be explained by a man named stephen hawkins you should look him up and listen and read all by this man, richard feynman also give great knowledge as well good night all if I dont go to sleap now I will never sleep
Reply #45 Top
I assume null g means no gravity right well this is impossible to answer for no one know why gravity is the way it is, question tho what do you plan on achievein with this movein the planet????

Angel's do it all the time. as for them. time does not exist.

Pardon me, I am still in my "state"

martin, no not a movie, but actual experiments done by NASA and the USAF...

They engineered two identical clocks which were the closest matched time pieces on this planet then and now.

They put on in a super sonic jet and one on the ground, they hooked up a laser on the ground to track the jet and then flew it balls to the wall and checked time against time, there was an actual deviation of time recorded and recreated on a number of other passes, proving that speed against time changes times, it has to give. Which is the proof of Einstein's theory of on time travel and relativity.

oh yeah i know about that and i am not talkin about a movie there was a set of experiments called the philidelphia experiments in wich they say they sent some navy personel into the future we can talk on this when we chat for now i must sleep
