I'm running Windows XP home edition
256 RAM
Last night I updated at microsoft update.(Driver update).

Adapter Description NVIDIA Geforce2 mx 100/200

Installed Drivers nv4_disp.dill
Driver Version 6.13.10.4072

Today I'm noticing Window FX 2.0 is running more streamlined on my system(faster)
Just thought I'd pass that along.

Download the newest Nvidia drivers for the Gforce 200/400 MX and you will see an even greter gain in performance and display quality

Great - now if somebody will just edit the .inf file so it will install on their mobile chipsets...

I'm running 4109 and the performance is /utterly/ abyssmal with the 4 in my notebook.

Wow - Okay. I downloaded the 4286 beta driver - and.. wow. I can use shadows and transitions (In 'good' mode, no less,) at the same time. Whee!

Still can't use menu transparency /and/ menu-fade-in effects at the same time though.

They should be fixing up the 3D and such, because they are going to be pushing themselves to get ready for Longhorn and the newer games with meory and HD space on laptops coming down so much...

Hey - I'm just happy there's somebody out there supplying modified .inf files for Dell & Toshiba systems with the GeForce chipsets in them - because the only Toshiba drivers available are /old/! ^_^
