Finally went to River Dance tonight !

WOW
My wife suprised me this afternoon with tickets for this evening.
All the way there I was kind of blah about the whole thing but playing up-beat for my wifes sake. I had mentioned seeing it a long time ago and then backed out when she mentioned it back them. Large crowds kind of make the room get smaller and smaller and....

But once we got seated and the show actually started it was fun watching my daughters face light up and how excited she got. Then I actually started watching it about 10 minutes into it and was kind of bummed when the 15 minute break came 50 minutes into it.

It was really great, I couldn't believe I would sit the two hours and stay focused on is
or anything other than a Comp Monitor

But it was fantastic, of course Cats was the same thing for me also.

if anyone is thinking of going to it, it was flipping fantastic

We were lucky enough to see the original in London with Michael Flatley (A #1 dork but he can/could DANCE) and Jean Butler (Wombat melts at the thought!).... thought they were the Canard's Gonads!
When the Aussie Tour came to Melbourne we managed to go again, no Mr Flatley (cheers!) but the new guy was better and Ms Butler remained delectable (Molten Wombat again!).
Must be the Celtic blood of our convict ancestors but the show was very popular in Oz.
For the Wombat it was more a case of lust ....
Cats was another great show.
Chess .... not so great but 'interesting' I guess.
ANYTHING featuring Sarah Brightman is great ... and if you've missed the Phantom of the Opera you've missed a genuine 'Theatrical Experience'.

When/If the chance comes we will hace to make sure to go.

I'm Scottish / Irish by ansestery "Gaddis" is the family name, mixed about the Isle of Man, Scottland and Ireland. Though I balk at digging to deep into it at $99.00 at this point. My daughter is starting to have more interest though, so maybe soon
