Game doesnt run at all, just hangs and gives me "GalCiv3 is not responding

I was on the regular edition and the opt in patch and both did the same thing.
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.

Please go through the troubleshooting guide and if you still have issues there's instructions on how to submit a support ticket so we can look into it.
I see you've been posting that same link here, as well as on the STEAM forums. Would be nice if one of these forums acctually, you know, offered support.
And yes, I'm a bit annoyed by this. I paid 41 euros for a game that won't even start up properly. ![]()
@OP: Instead of waiting for support to reply (like in forever), I did some digging myself. After finding a 226 error for a library (= usually 'missing dependency'), I started up DXAtlasWin.exe, and noticed it was missing MSVCP110.dll, which is part of a VisualStudio redist package (that got apparently uninstalled when I had STEAM uninstall an early-access game). After reinstalling the distro, my game started up normally again. ![]()

Sorry you are having an issue, but opening a ticket with support and providing your system info from our support tool can help us find out what's wrong and offer a solution.
