define "live"

define: explain, clarify, limit, set boundaries

live: be alive, exist, survive, remain alive, dwell, support oneself, earn money, cohabit; enjoy life

This is a question a friend and I have been going over for a couple of years now. They are almost to the point of being able to download the mind of a living being into synthetic storage. At that point, Jerry proposes that a Human Being could in fact live forever. and continue to experience life, to be downloaded at a future time in case of malfunction. I'm of the line of thinking that, in fact that would not constitute eternal life, but a cloned consciousness which would not be you. You would be dead, it would be almost like an upgraded version of yourself, true. But you, your life, your living would cease so you would cease to exist in body at least.

Energy never ceases to exist, it only transform... so I've read
