WindowsBlinds 8 Not Working on Win 7

Hi, I have bought WindowsBlinds in the past, and installed it. It worked fine. I uninstalled it for a little while, and the reinstalled it. Here's the problem:

A windows pops up with the buttons "Enter Product Key","Purchase Product Key"..etc. 3 buttons. As usual. I hit the button to enter my product key, doesn't work. I hit the demo button, doesn't work. When I hit purchase, it opens a mini browser inside the box with the usual purchase cart.

I have tried fully removing ALL of it's files, but it still doesn't work. I even turned my virus protection and windows firewall off!

I have a HP ProBook 6570b with a Intel i5 Core @ 2.5 GHz and 4GB DDR3 RAM.

My antivirus is: ESET NOD32 Antivirus

Please help me!

That didn't work, I uninstalled WindowBlinds and reinstalled it with the ESET settings. It still didn't work, so, I don't know what to do now... and it didn't have any message about it not being fully installed.

I have RocketDock, and I was trying to make my PC look like a mac with WindowBlinds and RocketDock.

And, if I download WB, It creates a folder named "StarDock" in my Downloads folder with nothing in it. I fully disabled ESET and used Revo Uninstall Pro. I don't know anymore. Just don't know.

It reads as if you downloaded WB via ObjectDesktopManager. Don't. Go to your Stardock account, login, and download it from there.

If it happens to be an Acer,  the data protection stuff preloaded on Acer laptops may need to be disabled.

eSecurity doesn't play well with OD. (or some other programs either for that matter), just a thought.

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

The issue you're encountering with activation can sometimes occur if your "Internet Security" settings are set to non-default settings.

Please try turning down your IE security settings and trying again. To do so, please do the following:

- Press the Windows key and "R" at the same time.
- A "Run" window will appear. Please paste the path below in the box and click OK:
inetcpl.cpl

In the "Internet Security" window that appears, please select the Security tab and ensure your settings appear like so: http://sd.stardock.com/sean/JingImages/2015-01-15_1729.png

Once you've done that, please try activating once again and let us know if you encounter any issues.
