How to skip research?

I've managed to research the entire Yor tech tree before really even conquering a quarter of an Insane size map with research victory conditions disabled.

I might be blind but I cannot find a button or method to skip the research so that I can continue my game.

Can anyone point me to the right place to look?

Currently there is none. Setting all planets to not do any research is the best work around.
