I am sooo lost LOL.

OK... I am so lost.
I am using windows 98 SE plus.
I want to know if DesktopX is only compatible with windows XP. If not, Do I have to use it in conjunction with WindowBlinds? I keep getting some error messages.
Also, I am using 800 x 600 (13 inch moniter). How can I determine which ones I can use on 800 x 600?
Thanx for any help!~!

If you have desktopx you can adjust most themes to fit your resolution some are however specific one resolution and can not be easily changed.you can run desktopx seperately or in conjunction with just about any other object desktop product such as windowblinds. One thing to note is that there is more support for newer versions of windows like winXp

DesktopX IS compatible with most windows versions. Most of my themes were made when I had WinME, (which is just '98 really). It can be used on it's own, doesn't need WindowBlinds.
Not many people use 800x600 anymore, so most theme designers don't make stuff for that res.
However, if a theme is "Resolution Independant" then you will be o.k.
If you tell us what the error messages say, we may be able to explain them......

breadcrumbs!!!!!

by the error code. It looks like a image error on placement. Which is the shutdown or exit button. But other then that. I don't know much about the program.. So, sorry. Maybe somebody that has played with it longer could help.

but don't forget the breadcrumbs to find your way
