This is built into Windowblinds in case something goes wrong with a skin. It allows you to still use Display Properties even if the rest of your windows are unreadable.

It can be changed...

...only if you're sure it's safe to do so. It's that way for a good reason

Open the Configuration dialog........... in Settings, the last entry is "Skin the display properties window"..... check it and click apply changes.

This little feature saved my butt the other day... I putting together one of the many skins I'll probably never finish in skinstudio - and accidentally hit the wrong choice.

Yes, I applied the skin. It wasn't -anywhere- near being ready for use and Windows decided to let me know that it wasn't. After the barrage of 'Divide by Zero' errors - the display properties window was the only window I was able to bring up!

So, I'm glad that, for once, I got paranoid, and turned that option off (for the first time, I might add! )

As I said, it's there for a reason - enable but on your own head be it!

Having said that, I've got mine skinned

Yeah I've normally got mine skinned too - but for the alpha version, I decided it might be smart to leave it unskinned the other day. ^_^
