My post from the marathon thread:

There seems to be a lot of this crap going on lately. It's sad people have such pathetic lives that all they can do is spread disruption and disharmony.

Without a creative thread in their bones they seek to destroy that which others create. I sentence the disenters to a life time of misery, for that is all they are capable of, and all that feeling angry and isolated can bring.

To all of them - have a nice day

We have a community here - no-one can take that away. There are so many good people here, they make the bitter and twisted minority worthless.

The small minority will be expunged by our warmth and goodness.

Hello Jam
one thing is to truely be happy and "try" to stay happy in this life is to not put your happiness in another person (on how ppl percieve you or talk to you or treat you) but rather on how you focus your energies on the things that make "you" happy... cuz you popped into this world alone and you will surely pop out alone.... hehe

Just don't worry about other ppl so much (not easy but it is possible!) and remember as hard as it is there are some ppl that act the way they do cuz they may have some reasons somewhere in their life that you don't always understand that also helps...

Hey Jam,

Sure I see you as a friend.
Only the question is now: for how far can somebody be your friend over internet.

Styl, a friend is a friend, even if long distances keep them apart!

If you don't expect too much from your friends far or near then you don't get too effected by it, but yeah whether a friend be near or far the quality of that friendship depends on the "Quality" of the person or human being that calls themselves a friend... hehe
and a friend sitting right next to you can be a empty friend so it does not matter the "where" hehe!
anyways again Jam relax like elf said (Hello elf!) and just enjoy yourself w/o worrying about the one person that may not be your friend (It's not healthy to put your self judgements or happiness based on others ppls opinions, unless they're God)

now tell us who is giving you probs so we can go jump them! and I'm just kidding! like I told you when ppl act out it could possibly be cuz something is going on w/ "them" personally that "you" may not know or understand so give "them" a break and yourself and ignore them or try to anyways cuz it'll blow over...

I have friends both near and far away, and I've been very Blessed that I cannot tell the difference of where they reside at Styl as far as our friendships go...

Thanks Doreen, very enlightening indeed and you made several very valid points.
I didn't mean to start a ruckus, I just get upset too easily sometimes and need to not let things get to me like that.
Thanks to one and all who responded in support of me, it touched me very deeply!
