I mean, just LOOK at this:

It's unnatural I tellz ya. An affront to the Natural Order of Things. 
Gives me the willies each and every time I see him attempting to smile.
That the Kona animation can only hold the fake, insincere, smile for a few seconds before lapsing into his natural frown is the best part of it, I admit. 
But, I will also admit I was completely freaked out the first time he attempted to smile at me. And I still am getting a chuckle (if a little worried one) whenever I see it.
