My bought copy of WindowBlinds has reverted to the shareware ver.

Anyone have any ideas? It WAS full version for about a day then after installing it on my wife's desktop (different user, same computer) both versions, mine & hers are "shareware" version again. I've tried putting in the registration # but I bought Object Desktop, not WindowBlinds so the key is not valid. How did this happen? What can I do to make it good again?

Thanks,

If you have Object Desktop, well let's see if I remember, I think only Compnent Manager asks for your reg info. Not sure because I installed OD on my box quite a few months ago. Contact Stardock.

If you bought Object Desktop, you need to DL "Component Manager", install it, fill out the user info area and type in your serial number there. Then you click on "Available Components" and you will see a list of all the downloadable programs (including WindowBlinds). These versions do not need a seperate serial number as they are only available thru Object Desktop.

P.S. I would un-install the shareware version of WindowBlinds first before I install the new version though. You won't need it anymore. Hope that helps.

Everything's alright now. I simply re-installed OD again on both desktops (both users) & it's all OK now. Just took a little getting used to is all (& like most "really clever" computer guru types I never rtfm) anyways thanks all.
