Toon XP

I, personally, don't think Toon is cheesy at all. I really like the soft edge icons and the Windowblinds skin is very pleasant on the eyes. I don't use the wallpaper though. I hope there are other additions to the suite, such as sysmetrix, cursors, NS/WS, etc.

If *you* don't like it, don't use it. Pretty simple.

I actually like it a lot. As a matter of fact, I am using it right now and don't plan on switching any time soon. I find it very functional and very pleasant to look at.

It's beautiful, that's for sure. Must admit it's not my thing though, but I can see the talent required to make it. To each his own, you know. There are plenty of other skins.

I like it. Of course, I'm one of the ones that like the original Windows XP style. I like styles like that. I don't like dark ones or jagged ones.

It was just one person's opinion. I personally don't like bright themes and I was curious to see why everyone was praising it like it is the greatest theme created. Continue enjoying, I for one probably won't buy into it.

If I had children, I would buy it for them, but it doesn't appeal to me.

I personally think that with all the other great skins out there (ones a lot better than Toon-XP) why would they make you buy it? It's not worth the money....no offense.

Many of the 'wow this is great' comments come from fellow skinners who can appreciate the style,work, originality.
Perhaps Joe Public just sees 'another' skin....

well this is one "Joe Public" that bought the entire ODN over this one theme so I didnt just see it as a skin. It has a very laid back feel which is nice if you spend hrs and hrs infromt of the computer like I do. If I want dull straight lines and conformaty there are plenty of dull themes out there without needing WB. This ones fun, pleasing on the eyes and functional. Also since its a tad on fun side I find I don't get stressed as much when my system acts up.

Thats why this site offers the variety it does. Everyone should be able to find something they like. Even me.

Don't like Toon-XP? Try the others. UniverseMetal, Logika, Pixtudio are all high-end skins. Don't want to pay $? Wincustomize has a butt-load of others to chose from. Toon-XP has the friggin coolest icons, so orignal, so, glass bubbley sweetness. The Windowblinds skin is great too.

oooh in that case, it's different with taste, fun, colorful, when I get my daughters computer back from the person I loaned it to I will be buying it and installing it.

guess it boils down to just that, it is Fun

I'm 32 yrs and bought toonxp... yes its ooohh so cute but its easy on the eyes, fun and DIFFERENT! I really appreciate the originality of this theme... only one problem... its harder to keep my kids off my computer!!!

the icons are nice.. I like them... did anyone here see pixos yet?? it looks good even better than toon... I bought toon and like it... and am going to buy pix os... and not just because I like it... because mormegil did such a bad-a$$ job on the icons, I like them the best... he's also promised more free one's too... that's why I buy the suites, because that gives the authors the revenue to make more free skins... like pixtudio... they make money sure... but treetog has alot of skins on this site... i mean... wow... they are some of the best here... all free... good job to the authors on toon xp... i bought and am using it... and im not gonna change my theme till I get PixOS...

Thats why there are so many good artists at WinCustomize. Everyone's tastes are different, Mormegil is one of the great ones and that is just one of his works. Everyone doesn't like every skin as your own reply noted, it's just your opinion, I'm sure there are plenty of others that will appeal to you.
