Quick wallpaper upload question

I see that it asks for a bitmap image but all the downloads are jpeg. I figure that the site changes them over but is it acceptable to upload a fine quality jpeg or do you prefer bitmap to start with?

Keila, pay no attention to the bitmap reference, just upload your fine quality jpegs...

The term Bitmap image refers to bmp, jpg, gif, etc............. confuzzleing ain't it?
